The B.N.M. Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital Saharsa was established in the year 1973 in the name of late Mr. Bhupendra Narayan Mandal Ex- M.P. (Lok Shabha & Rajya Shabha) and a great socialist leader by the political leader of different forum and the social workers of old Saharsa District on the Indo-Nepal boarder Comprising of Saharsa-Madhepura and Supaul District to serve the suffering humanities of Koshi ravaged area which covers the several Districts of North Bihar Saharsa is the old divisional Headquarter of the state of Bihar. The College is situated in the heart of Nagar Parishad of Saharsa District, on the Saharsa Madhepura by pass road. This is to be noted that the entire properties, lands, and building have been purchased, and constructed by myself in the name of Honrab'le Governor Government of Bihar for B.N.M. Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital Saharsa. During my Principalship tenure I have purchased about seven Acres of Land where the huge buildings and departments have been constructed and all the departments including out-door (OPD) Indoor(IPD) have been constructed well equipped and furnished. I have serve this institution as a Lecturer to Principal cum Hospital Superintendent from 05.09.1973 to 27.03.2019 about 46 years. This is the pioneer intuition in the state of Bihar for Teaching and Training to Bachelor in Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S.) students and almost about 200 Patients are being treated in OPD department per day along with 30 bedded indoor hospital well-functioning.

We congratulate National Commission for Homoeopathy, Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi that our College have been granted permission for Admission of 50 students in BHMS Course for the session 2021-22 of the NEET Qualified students through Bihar Combined Competitive Examination Board Counselling.
